GDG DevFest Karachi 2019 held at IBA City Campus, Saturday

This 23^rd of November the Google Developer Groups also are known as the GDG came together to hold a DevFest for the emerging youth inspired of IT solutions & developing solutions to the business requirements of modern-day. The event was free to motivate students for a maximum participation with regards to give them more exposure to Information Technology.

The event saw numerous speaker sessions and professionals sharing their experience, knowledge and transcending information to the youth. Participation was seen from all over Sindh, with people coming in from the regions as far as Hyderabad & Khairpur too. In my own fathoming the event really lives up to the core objective behind it. That is to provide relative information & reckoning among masses in order to promote IT education among young. After all its the experiences that we all gain wisdom from, and hearing to someone with vast experiences gives exposure to yourself.

Among the discussions, new and relevant technologies were part of the agenda. BigQuery & Firebase being one among them. Also TensorFlow was the talk of the hour early in the day, which in my experience was really mind-opening for me as I personally believe I learned something new from that. 

Other than those, labs were also arranged with mentors to look after the intriguing curiosities if any shows up. And to conclude the day a workshop was arranged in the hall.

In all, it was a wonderful experience for me and I believe it was for the rest of the people who were attending the event. I would like to congratulate the team behind this event for putting up a remarkable show. Also, there were some fun goodies as souvenirs to take with me at the end of the day!
